“I read this to my class and they were
thoroughly gripped throughout.  The
atmosphere is compelling from the outset
and there’s a memorably terrifying villain.
Highly recommended.”

Jean reading ‘The Crow House’ in the graveyard at Wigtown Book Festival

Wigtown is Scotland’s Book Town,  a Georgian village by the sea, with a wide street lined with bookshops.

New step-brother Callum is hostile and Holly is left mostly on her own.  But odd and alarming things begin to happen in No. 71 North Main Street – or ‘The Crow House’, as Holly and Callum discover it was once known.

And as they reluctantly learn to trust each other, they find out that ‘The Crow House’ has secrets, and doors that aren’t like other doors.
